As each week passes the cameras get better but the outlets for our pictures get fewer. Newspapers and magazines close or cut back on staff and freelances. Rates of pay have gone down.
Frankly the stories we cover have got fewer too. Nobody want to cover war anymore. All the pictures have been taken. The poverty of war also has been done to death.
The cheap option, so beloved by editors, 'celebrity' is also finally losing the readers interest and sales are beginning to fall.
All the politicians look and talk the same so their out. Sport Yawn!
News print and distribution costs are rising.
New by Internet is on the rise Yeah! but the use of picture therein still to be seen (pardon the pun)
So, yes our outlets are changing and our fees are getting smaller but it's up to us to find new outlets like the internet news channels to keep thing profitable.
